Jeff Belkora, PhD, is the Director of the Patient Support Corps. Jeff is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Institute for Health Policy Studies at UCSF. Tia Weinberg, BA, is a Program Coordinator in the Patient Support Corps. Tia's training includes participating in the Patient Support Corps for three years, 2012-2015, as an undergraduate premedical intern from UC Berkeley. Shelley Volz, MA, was a Program and Research Associate in the Patient Support Corps. Shelley recently retired in September 2015. Shelley's training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies from San Francisco State University (2004), and a Master’s Degree in Education from San Francisco State University (2007). Her responsibilities at the Patient Support Corps included quality assurance, data collection, analysis, and reporting. She also coordinated the premedical interns. Shelley is 14 years post-treatment for breast cancer.
